The Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center will host a free community art event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Guests will create watercolor kites as part of the “Art Uplifts” exhibit. All materials and instruction will be provided. Check out the new art exhibit and listen to the Celtic Music Jam.
Created in the memory of the late Jimmy Magnuson, a beloved local artist and musician, “Art Uplifts” celebrates resilience and the healing power of art. The works on display represent hope, healing and courage. The show shares the message that art has the power to uplift everyone and can help navigate life’s challenges: recovery, grief, loss, diagnosis and more. No matter the struggle, situation or journey, art can uplift everyone.
The JACC is at 405 N. William St., Post Falls.
