EVANSVILLE — This summer, the Evansville Art Center is facing a not-so-artsy challenge: The building’s HVAC system needs some serious love — and by love, they mean funds.
Evansville Art Center is excited to host “Picture This,” a unique photo fundraiser happening Sunday, Aug. 10 from noon to 6 p.m., featuring professional photography sessions designed to capture one’s best moments while supporting community art programs.
Whether one is looking to refresh their professional headshot, commemorate a special relationship, or gather the whole crew for a beautiful family photo, this is the event for everyone.
Two professional photographers will be on-site with backdrops and studio lighting to ensure high-quality, memorable portraits.
Suggested donations:
$30 – Individual headshot
$40 – Couple’s portrait
$50 – Senior class/family photo session (up to five people)
If there will be more than five family members, please note when registering so that accommodations can be made.
Participants will receive digital copies of their photos. Prints will not be included. Participants may print images at their convenience.
All proceeds go directly to supporting programming and facility needs at Evansville Art Center, helping it continue to offer enriching experiences for all ages in the community.
Spots are limited. To reserve a time, call Jackie at 320-491-6295.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and in part through a Minnesota State Legislative general fund appropriation.
Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
